When someone mentions living an "island life" most minds immediately wander to the tropics. Images of bright blue water and palm trees are generated. Not many would jump to the Jersey Shore for their ideal image of island living. However, I am creating this blog in order to highlight the incredible aspects of island life the Jersey Shore does have! While palm trees are not native and the Atlantic Ocean doesn't give us that sparkling clear blue water, it still has plenty to offer for the "beachy" and relaxing vibe many people seek. One can always count on a beautiful sunset over the bay. There are many public docks along the water that people gather at to picnic or just sit and enjoy the views.
